The under-painting

I was told to leave work today at noon because of all the long hours I've put in over the past two weeks (the pitch went GREAT). I picked up a new canvas on the way home even though I shouldn't be buying anything new because I'm moving in two weeks. But what was I supposed to do? The thought of sitting at home made me über bored.



The under-painting is finished. This is basically the painting's skeleton - the framework over which I will lay all the colors. That will happen once this layer is dry - maybe I'll be able to get some color in there later this evening; the under-painting is fairly thin.

A little bit of color

I got some of the color laid down. This is all I think I'm going to do tonight. I'll pick it up in the morning if I feel up to it; I think I may be coming down with something. Every bit of me seems to ache.
