Ten things

Say you were meeting a new person - blind date, new friend, who knows, and you wanted them to have some idea of what kind of person you are, and who you are, but you can't actually tell them in so many words. Instead, you have to give them a box, with a dozen things in it for them to ponder over.

What would you put in the box?

For me:

a tube of cadmium red oil paint
a very worn pair of tall leather boots
some hair bleach and peroxide developer
a pint of strawberries
a cold bottle of beer
a beat up leather jacket
a Cannon Powershot digital camera
another cold bottle of beer
a tube of red lipstick
a black moleskine notebook

Things I see

I picked my boots up from the cobbler this afternoon. The zipper had broken on one of them.


I saw an open door and went into a building that is being rehabillitated - not far, though. There were no stairs.


I came across a yard with many statues.
