• I worked on the Footmen painting some more. It's still super work-in-progress, but I'm happy with how it's going. I totally should be a fashion designer.
• Operation 'Speak German at Work' has been going well. There are still so many people here I work with that don't know German, so I'm only at about 50% German throughout my day, but whatever. I speak German with the Germans and so far so good.
• I'm going out to the countryside this weekend to spend some time with a couple good friends and am looking forward to it very much.
• Last Friday I was at a party and the night was going really well until it was discovered that a friend that everyone seemed to have in common had been found dead. There was instant mass sadness. I've never witnessed so many people receive such terrible news all at once. The guy in question had been hit by a train, struck down dead before 30.
• I am happy to be alive.
