Successful elimination
Today I successfully de-crapped my home. The pantry, the cabinets, the Closet of Things That I Do Not Use, the desk, my drawers, under my bed, and my painting corner.
This was the first of two "movements":

Carrying all this crap down four flights of stairs and then hauling it through the -22 F wind to the dumpster was _not fun_.
I was able to give away the slow cooker to someone who lives down the hall from me, which was fortunate. I would have felt bad pitching it because it works fine. The problem is that it's heavy, takes up a lot of space and I haven't used it in the past two years.
I just made bread dough and set it aside to rise over night.
I'm pooped and my eyes are dry and red from all the dust I kicked up today. I think I'm going to make some hot clam stew and go read a book.
