Things I see
Yesterday was awesome. I met up with ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
jkretch, gritona and Jack at the zoo. Many creatures were viewed, including this seal, which parked itself upside down directly in front of me:
I picked up some lilacs and little orange tulips on my way home. My new neighborhood has a lot of really nice florists. It's quite a departure from my old neighborhood where dyed carnations and baby's breath were about all you could get.
At home I cleaned and baked muffins and put flowers all over the house. Flowers are amazing - they made my un-homey home 500% more homey the instant I put them out. I called my mother and wished her a happy mother's day and we spoke for a while.
In other news, the garbage in my new neighborhood continues to amuse me:
