Chicago Snow

We were sent home early due to the snow. It was windy and the snow was piling up fast. It wasn't too cold though, so I made it home on foot.

A face

I just broke a cardinal personal rule in this painting.
I painted an actual face. This is my first painting with an actual, discernable face. My excuse? Well, it's still mostly disguised by scarves...



I have reasons for not putting faces in my paintings. I guess today's blizzard made me indignant. That and the glass of wine I've had for each mile I walked in it...
