Last night I could not sleep so I added a shelf of chemicals to the painting.

I worked on the painting tonight. It's clipping along well. I'm using a couple new painting mediums in this piece, both galkyd based. It's giving the paint a lacquer look, which is nice. The colors have greater depth. Drying time is strange, though. One of them is slowing the drying time and the other is speeding it up. Going back to work over areas I've already painted is touch and go. I should probably let the painting rest a couple days before I dive back in.
