Things I see
Sep. 8th, 2007 06:53 pmAn abandoned television.

An abandoned building.

I made a trip up to Evanston to get some cans of spray paint. Stores can't sell spray paint here in Chicago because of problems with graffiti, so you have to go out to the suburbs to get it. It's true that there isn't much graffiti in the city anymore, but I kind of miss it. I loved seeing all the graffiti in Berlin when I was there, and New York was full of it, too. There's something lively and fun about it. Spontaneous and colorful. It's too bad a lot of the graffiti here is gang related though.
While I was in Evanston I went to Wild Oats and tried to buy a bottle of Hacker Pschorr, but they wouldn't sell it to me because you can't just buy one beer in Evanston, you have to buy at least two(??wtf??). So Iran out with it put the beer back and picked one up when I got into the city.
Stupid, stupid laws getting in my way today.
