In my free moments I've found myself wandering over to ebay and doing searches for things like gramophones and leather spats. Because I totally need them.
O and I are going to spend Thanksgiving with my parents and older brother out in the suburbs. O's a real sport to be going along with me... my family is a little strange when it comes to food. Thanksgiving dinner with them will consist of the usual bland unseasoned boiled vegetables that my mother typically fixes, and some baked fish, although my mother mentioned something about maybe getting a "small bird" this time so we might get lucky. But there will be no fat or sugar. No bread, no pie, no stuffing, no gravy, at least not in the forms most people are familiar with. I don't really mind it – I grew up with it. But I think I'm going to get an emergency pie/cake/goodies and some beer to stow at my apartment for afterwords when we get back into the city.
Two days after Thanksgiving is my birthday. The big three-four. I'll be going to Neo at some point but haven't decided if I'm going to do Friday or Saturday yet.
