Dec. 4th, 2007 05:42 pmWas just at the doctor. He told me to go to the emergency room, that my medication wouldn't be doing this to me if the last pill I took was over 24 hours ago. I'm at work wrapping things up; I'll go to the ER first thing tomorrow.
Reasoning behind insanity: I can sit and be breathless here or I can sit and be breathless at home.
If I go to the ER now I'll just sit there until morning in the waiting room (it's too crowded at night).

I guess I should have mentioned earlier that the doctor who told me to go to the ER was my psychiatrist (and not my general practitioner), and that he did actually say, "in the morning"...
I'm going to take a couple days off from work and try to figure out what this breathing thing is. I don't think it's life-threatening, but I'm not going to sit on it, either. I'll call my GP when her office opens at 8:30 and try to see her first, but if not I'll just go straight to the ER.
