Stayed home from work today, sick with a sore throat. It's so boring to stay home sick - there's nothing to do, and even if there was, I don't feel up to anything.
I've been drinking a lot of green tea and playing some World of Warcraft, which is starting to lose it's charms. I have six characters now, all on different servers and all about level 10. That's the level where I start to lose interest and think "ok, this rogue stuff is getting dull. I wonder what it's like to play a hunter?". But it's all pretty much the same, and I can't handle the repetition.
I wish I had the strength to take apart my bed and lean the mattress and frame parts against the wall so I could move the futon into the other room and set up my studio. But I just can't. I'm really weak today and have mainly been lying in bed staring at the wall. I've also been reading bits and parts of a biography on Willem de Kooning.
I'm going to work tomorrow regardless of how I feel. I can't endure another day of this awful boredom.
