(no subject)

I sanded down and ripped open the big painting over the weekend:



I had planned to paint a scene on top of this, but having reached this point and being able to see the piece before my eyes I think that I'm just going to leave it as is. I'm kind of in love with the texture and the way the layers of color below the surface peek through.

So I'm going to pronounce this one finished and move on to new work.
