Dec. 11th, 2008 04:32 pmIt's been a long, hard week here at work. I've been coming in at 7am and leaving at 8pm, only to end up working into the night. Hopefully next week will be quieter. At least the writer I've been working with is cool, and we've been having fun despite the drudgery; working with good people makes all the difference.
I finished a new painting this week:
Eggplant for Oya, 52"x30"
Also, I'm almost finished with the commissioned piece I've been working on for the past 5 months, and I'm hoping to wrap up the final details this weekend. I feel like I'm some kind of marathon painter, nearing the finish line.
Walking to work in the cold has been rough in recent days, and at 7 in the morning the air is especially frigid. Thing is, it's still not even that cold out (this morning it was 23F). Hopefully I'll get acclimated to the single digit quickly when they come.
