(no subject)

Woke up this morning feeling sick, so I stayed home. W is sick too, so it's not really a mystery where this came from. I ache all over, have a headache, an elevated temperature, not much of an appetite, and generally feel listless. If this gets any worse I'm going to go get some Tamiflu, but for now I'm generally okay.

I shouldn't have made all those swine flu jokes last week.

Further adventures in Movable Type

So I've got Movable Type installed and I've created a generic blog.

To help me learn the ins and outs of blog template design and development, I think I'm going to design a new blog for myself. Kind of a fun little project, and once I'm done I think I'll be in a good place to tackle sharkforum.org.

I read up on PHP yesterday and it looks fairly straightforward. Also, my knowledge of unix is coming back to me much quicker than I would have imagined. Sweet.

(i didn't know I could talk to my mac with unix! That was kind of fun)

In any case, what I'm really going to have to go back and go over is css, which I'm pretty rusty with.... good thing it's not too difficult, as I recall.
