I have the next two weeks off from work!
Well, okay, that's not entirely true – I have to fly to Zürich on Wednesday for a client meeting – but aside from that, I'm free!
A friend of mine is in Europe with friends who are in a band on tour right now, and I'm going to meet up with them in Salzburg and hang out there until Monday when they head back to the States. Then I plan to come home and just focus on my paintings for the remainder of my free days.
I feel like I haven't really made too much headway with my art since I've gotten here – due to a mixture of things. I've been getting aquainted with my new surroundings and building a network of friends here. On top of that there's been the endless German classes, the whole getting-set-up process, the awesome parties, and the sleeping-the-entire-day-after-the-all-night-party thing that I seem to do a lot lately. So I'm going to try to get focused on my art again and make some real progress.
