Things I see
Jan. 21st, 2012 05:02 pmYesterday I was stricken suddenly with food poisoning (or something equally fast acting and terrible) while at work, which was so not the most convenient place to be stricken with a sudden, explosive illness. My coworker (and good friend) Alison took me home in a taxi and made sure I got to bed alright, and I slept for the remainder of the day. I was seriously that sick – I needed help getting home, and it was a toss-up over whether to take me home or the hospital.
I'm feeling better today, although my stomach still isn't sitting quite right.
I got up early this morning and headed over to Boesner, the local art supply store, and picked up some things for my studio: New brushes, some painting medium, some tubes of paint. I always spend way more than I plan to when I go there.
This afternoon I went on a mission to get some photographic material to use as fodder/inspiration for new paintings. In Berlin this is not hard to do as it is a city filled with strange and unusual junk.
