Here's a link to see some of the strangest mushroom species in the world. I wish we had the bioluminescent kind here – it would be so cool to see them glowing at night.

Nessie, here I come!

I'm going to Scotland for Christmas this year, staying with a friend and her family for 9 days. They live right beside Loch Ness, and I'm hoping I can catch a sighting of the monster while I'm there. Of course, my friend and I are flying over there on the 21st of December, otherwise known as the End of the World, so who knows if we'll ever actually make it.

I'm really looking forward to experiencing Scotland. I hear they have these super-cute Scottish Wildcats roaming around, and I've been told they're fierce as hell, but still... AAAaaawwww.

Looks just like a normal cat, except more pissed off.

I'm also looking forward to trying out some haggis. My friend's dad is going nut with the food aparently and can't wait to introduce me to various Scottish dishes. I suppose I can forget that I'm a vegitarian for 9 days...
