I used some fluorescent enamel last night, and only after I'd splashed it around and gotten it all over my hands, feet, pants and arm (and yes, the canvas, which is where I actually intended for it to go) did I discover that it was massively toxic. So then there was a big Oooops moment and I threw open the windows and ran to the bathroom to clean myself off. I should have known better. Fluorescent paints have weird stuff in them.

I sanded down the latest painting and prepped it for resin, which I poured this morning before work (with windows thrown open - that stuff is toxic, too). I'm going to have to pour a second coat, though because the first coat wasn't thick enough to make the roughed-up surface completely smooth - I need it flat for the next stage of what I plan to do.

Tonight I'll break out the paint stripper and scrape down the smaller piece I'm working on.

Hm. Looks like my face mask is on upside down.
