alcippeI met with the advisor to the CEO of the company that I like/likes me and we had a really nice talk. At the end of our hour together she told me she thinks I would be a great fit for the company and that she is going to recommend to the CEO that he hire me. This is fantastic news.
On November 3 I have an appointment to renew my visa – hopefully with a signed work contract I can actually attain permanent residency this time around. Fingers crossed, it would be the end to a lot of insecurity I currently have over my ability to remain here (which I deeply want to do).
