Work clothes

This afternoon I have to go out to the client to present work. I had to buy client-appropriate clothing after work yesterday, which is never very fun because it's not clothes I'm buying for me, it's clothes I'm buying for work. I went to the Gap because it's close and their stuff is fairly cheap. I tried on a whole bunch of things, and of course the expensive stuff looked good on me and the cheaper stuff looked bad. The mirror in the dressing room made me look like a starvation victim, though when I got home and looked in the mirror I looked fine, so I'm convinced the mirrors at Gap are fixed to make you look thinner than you actually are. I walked out with this:

Can't go wrong with solid black. I'm wearing it with my tall brown boots and a brown camisole. It does the trick.
I suppose I need to get my presentation in order now. Color printouts and the like.
For the past few days I've been feeling like I might be coming down with something, but it that seems to have passed. I went to bed early last night and got 9 solid hours of sleep, which I'm sure helped. Still feeling a little enervated, but the worst seems to have passed. Going to stay in tonight, though, take it easy, do some painting.
