alcippeAutumn is finally here.
I was so glad to have my leather jacket (freshly repaired from the leather shop just two weeks ago) yesterday - the wind was intense. It's really chilly out today (although tomorrow will warm up a bit, but only for one day), so I think I'm ready to go back to actually cooking my dinners rather than just having a bowl of cereal and fruit salad when I get home.
This morning I saw turban squash when I stopped in to pick up a yogurt at the grocery store. I LOVE squash, especially all the unusual kinds that are available in the fall. So I think I'm going to pick up some squash and cabbage on my way home and make a stew with noodles for dinner.
This is my favorite kind of squash, "buttercup squash":

I worked on the painting a couple days ago:
I still hate it. I think it may actually look worse now than it did before.
But see? I didn't throw it away. And by hook or by crook I'll make it work..

Tomorrow morning I need to go present work to the client out in the suburbs. Aaaarrg. I must wear the client outfit.
I'll have to get a good night's sleep too, although this cool weather is great for sleeping so that shouldn't be a problem.
