Blue paintings

I had the day off so I spent it painting.
Finished another silkscreen in matte white on a high-gloss background. It's the Chicago Avenue bridge I used to walk over every day on the way to and from work:

Also worked on this piece. There are three layers of blue glaze (looks kind of like stained glass) and then matte white drips on top:

I attempted a third piece but botched the glaze, so I'm going to re-gesso it and start over when it's dry.
Also, this pair-of-shoes-lamp I saw in a shop window is awesome:

Now I want to turn all my boots into lamps.
