I ordered the fainting couch today, not in ruby red, but green:

I've got MOST of my stuff boxed up, but it seems like crap keeps coming out of the woodwork still needing to be packed. And then there are the things I'm not exactly sure *how* to pack, like the antique top hat, which is as fragile as a house of cards.
But the packing is all I'm going to worry about. I've decided that this is going to be the easiest move of my life. I've got moving men coming on Sunday morning to move my stuff to the new place, and I've arranged for maids to come clean the old place once I've left.
W's going to help me move my paintings on Saturday afternoon. I can't wait to get into the new space; I'm chomping at the bit, dying to get in there and explore. The back area holds secrets - it's dark and full of shelves, and in places you can see the original floor, where the old wooden slats are.
