My eye is doing much better today. It's still a little swollen and blurry, but I didn't need the patch, and I can even blink without wincing. The eye drops they gave me are strangely think, kind of like honey, and it makes my eyelashes stick together.

This morning, the queen of the Netherlands was spotted from our office balcony, stepping onto a boat from the dock of the posh hotel nextdoor to us. I did't get to the balcony in time to see her, but I did see tons of security officers, and her boat, which was large and had a bunch of flags.
