Business plans and wing slaps

alcippeMy staycation has been awesome so far, aside from falling squarely on my finger during the first 5 minutes of my inline skating career. That sucked. Thankfully, the finger has shrunk back down to normal size and can fully extend and bend as it should.
OOOoo gypsy musicians are playing music and marching down my street. Trumpet and accordion – I love it when they do this, playing their awesomely anachronistic songs.
I've been mapping out a loose business plan over the past few days, setting goals for myself so I have clear marks to aim for and deadlines to adhere to, and I've been asking friends for good accountant recommendations to help me deal with the numbers. I need to come up with an awesome company name, too, although in the end I'll probably just go with 'Kretchmer Studios' to keep things simple. Still, it's fun to think about.
Last night I had a dream where I was deeply depressed, stuck in a job I hated, working with people I didn't like, and had no friends. It was such a relief to wake up and be in real life, where the complete opposite is true. I am so lucky to have my real life be the awesome reality.
Rasputin seems happy to have me home more often. He follows me from room to room, which is super cute, although he still shies away from physical contact, and wing-slaps me if I get too close to him. Skirmishes frequently break out when he decides to set up camp beside the toilet, but for the overwhelming majority of the time there is peace.
