There is only one topic on everyone's minds now. 

Even the people who were laughing at panic shoppers yesterday are now stocking their larders with pasta. 

I look forward to fixing up my desk, moving it to the window, and working from home, but I don't look forward to the loneliness that will surely descend. 

Almost a third of all Berliners live alone; I will not be the only lonely one.

Thank goodness I have Rasputin, my bird, to keep me company.

It is said that we are ten days behind Italy, that we will be in the same dire straits in a week or two. There are 118 cases in Berlin today.

I need to buy a tube of titanium white, I'm almost out. And some extra bird food.
